Tour program:

• Group pickup from the city districts. Departure by a comfortable bus from Petrozavodsk to Sortavala (250 km).
• Boarding Meteor motor ship. Crossing Lake Ladoga to Valaam Island (45 mins).
• Sightseeing tour around the central estate of the monastery + visiting the Transfiguration Cathedral.
• Lunch;
• Boarding the ship, trip to Sortavala. Transfer by bus to Ruskeala Mountain Park.
• Tour around the park, uncovering the unique landscapes and the canyon with emerald water.
• On the way to the mountain park: stop at the Tohmajoki Falls, a place where The Dawns Here Are Quiet and Trees Grow on the Stones Too movies were filmed.
• On the way back: visiting Cross of Sorrow memorial, a monument to the victims of the "winter war" (1939-1940).
• Return to Petrozavodsk, the capital of the Republic.
