Day 1:

08:55 am Meeting in Petrozavodsk, under the railway station clock in front of the railway station immediately after Train 18 arrival (Moscow – Petrozavodsk).
Transfer to Hautavaara, 125 km

• Preparation of rafting equipment and accessories. Lunch in the wild. Briefing, putting on equipment and accessories. Training on the water. Rafting along the River Shuya: Sizovsky Rapid (commonly dubbed as Ugryumy, Class 3 Rapids) – Sobachiy (Ostrovnoy, Class 2 Rapids) Rapid, 13 km. The name Shuya stems from the Karelian word “suo”, which means a swamp, since at first, the river has flat shores. However, towards this section, the shores rise above the river in a fascinating pinewood setting. The river has rapids along its length, and its rapids alternate with stretches.
• Camp site organization. Pilot sliding down the rapid. Dinner and overnight stay in the wild.

Day 2:

Breakfast. Rafting along the River Shuya: Sobachiy (Ostrovnoy, Class 2 Rapids) Rapid – Kenyaykoski (Class 3-4 Rapids) Rapid – Valoyne (Class 1-2 Rapids) Rapid – Sarikoski (Class 1-2 Rapids) Rapid – Kumio (Class 2-3 Rapid) Rapid, 30 km.

• Going round Ignoyl HPP. Lunch in the wild.
• Passing or going along, depending on the group, Kenyaykoski Rapid and Kumio Rapid.

Dinner and overnight stay in the wild.

Day 3:

DAY'S REST Breakfast. Day's rest. Sliding down the rapid, rest, lunch, fishing, mobile steam bath.
Compact and quickly assembled outdoors, a mobile steam bath is the best way to relieve fatigue on the go. Bathing relieves adrenaline rush, relaxes muscles, and perfectly relieves tension.
Dinner and overnight stay in the wild.

Day 4:

Breakfast.

Rafting along the River Shuya: Kumio Rapid – Sodder village – Lake Shotozero (a beautiful lake with sandy beaches), 32 km Crossing the lake by motor boat. Based on the route conditions, a hot on-the-go lunch or snack is offered.
Dinner and overnight stay in the wild.

Day 5:

Breakfast.

Rafting along the River Shuya: Lake Shotozero – Mostovoy Rapid (Class 1-2 Rapids) – Lake Vagatozero – Kindasovo village (famous for mass humor holidays) – Kindosovsky Rapid (Class 2 Rapids) – Khabakovsky Rapid (Class 1-2 Rapids) – Svyatreka River, 35 km Based on the route conditions, a hot on-the-go lunch or snack is offered.
Dinner and overnight stay in the wild.

Day 6:

Breakfast.

Rafting along the River Shuya: Svyatreka River – Bolshoy Tolly Rapid (Class 3-4 Rapids), 20 km. Based on the route conditions, a hot on-the-go lunch or snack is offered.
Bolshoy Tolly Rapid is one of the most famous and visited in Karelia. This is a place of annual competitions among kayakers in Russia and abroad.

Day 7:

Breakfast. Free time. Sliding down Bolshoy Tolly Rapid (Matrosy village).
Lunch in the wild. Paid extra: tour to Kizhi island.
Transfer to Petrozavodsk, 35 km
4 pm Arrival to Petrozavodsk, visiting a shungite room.
Shungite is a unique mineral found in Karelia only. Its study continues until now. The museum tells about this stone features, offers Karelian herbal tea and shows how various objects from shungite are made. The museum also sells souvenirs.
05:30 pm Arrival at Petrozavodsk railway station, departure by evening trains.
