Next: Kivach reserve with a tour of the same-name, second largest plain waterfall in Europe – Kivach. The reserve is also renowned for its arboretum with rare Karelian birches.

12:30 pm Departure by a comfortable bus; along the way: story about the Republic of Karelia, the past of Olonets region, Karelian peoples, explanation of local names and why the locations we are traveling to are famous.

• Visiting the point on Mount Sampo with a stunning view near Lake Konch-Ozero.
• Tour around the first Russian resort Marcial Waters founded by Peter the Great.
• Tasting healing water from three springs.
• Tour to Kivach nature reserve with the preserved Kivach Waterfall, one of the largest plain waterfalls of Europe glorified by the poet Derzhavin. Its height is 10.7 m.
• Visiting the arboretum with the grove of rare Karelian birches. Exploring the Museum of Nature.

05:00 pm - Return to Petrozavodsk.
